The thing about that is that no one knows what dragons look like. I think Your body doesn't look like it could go airborne but I don't know how to fix that.

yeah, it looks like it has a running body (powerful front shoulders).

You might consider making the roots of the wings (bits going into body) quite thick to give the impression that the wings are very powerful and could easily keep him aloft.
Alternatively just say that it doesnt matter as most dragons are magical and he could have a flight spell working user added image

Looking great though user added image

Thanks for the compliments and advice guys user added image
I appreciate it, I am still busy on the body at the moment.
It is going pretty slowly as I am studying and writing songs. I Should have a render or screenshot by next week though.

Dragon Project BLues

Well I had been studying and chaging my work times from night shift to normal day shift... unfortunatly I had formatted my pc not realizing that I did not back up my work (I could shoot myself)
so all my work, files, etc... etc... etc... has gone for a ball of
@#!@#XYZ!@#!@#

This model is lost with no way of recovering, nor can I post my
finished work!!!

Will start again sometime soon...

Cheers

Looks absolutely amazing! Well done!

I think though that the eye in version 7 looks more realistic than version 8. If you think, the eye would be very smooth and damp, so the reflection wouldn't be as dispersed as in version 8. Version 7 is more accurate in that respect.

Other than that, it looks fantastic!

Oh No!!! The model was coming along real nice...

Well at least you got some practice...

P.S. - I know the feeling. I was working on a class project for 2 hours straight, and then boom, Maya crashed... needless to say I threw a fit...
