Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Hey I gotta question about a decal problem I'm having

I'm teaching myself how to texture (I never cared for it before); I figure since it is the thing I know to do the least, maybe I should get better at it. Anyway, I'm using a layered texture and mapped some text to the side of the obj, but the text is being projected on the other side of the geometry in reverse. Can anyone tell me why and how I can fix it? I'm using maya 5 by the way. Thanx guys.

Can you send a screen capture of the shader network? What the heck, might as well post one of the object in question. Hard to tell whats going on form what you said.
