Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

jali winter challenge

hi

this is my first ever attempt at entering a competion,
the sport i'm also doing is martial art (shaolin kung fu) , aswell, i've done a sketch too but will have to wait until tommorow before i can upload the images,

why, you ask i dont have a scanner, and will have to use my friends one

alright!!

i've finaly made a decision on the pose i'm going to use and the final theme,

it's going to be a shaolin monk doing the crane kick while standinging on a buddah statue.

here's a pic, (it was done with a mouse)

so dont anyone copy me please!!!!!!!

ha ha - that would be tough to copy!

really cool concept sketches jali - not sure about the karate kid pose though - just seems a bit obvious (to me user added image )

hey bud yeah great idea i think one thing youll really have to focus on when modelling is keeping with your theme because those concept sketches are great and would i would hate to see the theme behind them lost.

hey

some bad news i'm a fraid, i'm going to be shipping off my laptop to get repaired so i wont be able to post any updates or do any work on the competition for a week or so, i still intend on taking part in the comp, but will lose some precious working time
