Terminator TX

I thought I would have a go at a Terminatpr TX endoskeleteon, incase you didn't know the TX model is a female.
I made a quick start on the head and heres my progress so far, it's needs some work so go easy with the crit.

a quick render in Mental Ray with a basic chrome shader applied but the model is not UV mapped so ignore any discrepancies that you might spot on the chrome.

Here is another quick update, with no special lighting just rendered quickly in Mental Ray.
This model is proving to be a challenge because all the reference material I have ( it's not great quality) seems to portray different detail even though it's supposedly the same model TX.
So you will have to forgive a little artistic license since I have to take the best of what I like from each.

Very nice progress jsprogg! user added image How about showing a wire?

Regarding the TX, I really didn't like the design. The classic endo is so much cooler IMO. Don't know why WB wanted another Terminator vs. Terminator movie when It easily could have been a future war movie. T3 was such a huge disappointment IMO. The saddest thing is that WB wont release a re-edited version, taking out all the stupid parts. I have seen fan edits that have done it with success.

I have to agree I like the T101 but really wanted a female so settled for the TX.

amoeba the metal shader is just a really basic chrome shader but i spent a little while tweeking it in the attribute editor.

Heres the latest with the head almost complete.

I gotta say Im lovin it...

Maybe the neck is a little thick, but as long as it matches the refs keep going...

Also put in a little bit of fill lighting m8, is seems a little dark in the dar area, but Im being fussy (as usual)
