Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

i'm going to ask something really stupid....
apart from him explicitly saying so and that odd part on the bonnet, can you tell that he is rushing?

also... hasnt it been two days?

i can tell he's rushing cause i know he can do better, i've seen the mercedes he did and some of his other work, so i know that he can do much better than this, especiaally on the shaping of the caruser added image

is there any reason youre rushing this model or uping your modeling speed? personally what i know is that the faster you try to model this car the more inaccurate its going to get because most cars have very interesting surfaces and you will have to study the shapes for a while so you can understand it i know this because the kleemann im modeling i had to redo it about 4 or 5 times cause every time i saw the real car i noticed something i didnt see before. but hey its really up to you.

yea acid is right the least amount of time a client will ever give is one week and thats more for a studio so one does the modeling, another for texturing, another for rigging and so on.
