Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

hello mate thats not a bad start...Wish my first face looked that good! what i suggest u do is aquire some anatomical references so u can get the shape and proportion corrected. Even better if u can get some reliable wireframes of other ppls models u can see how they structure the face.

I have some wireframes in the WIP in my signature - they might be of some use to u.

look forward to seeing some improvements tweek

This, my friend, is a great start. You have all the peices there, now all you need to do is shift them around a little bit. Are you going for realism, or caricature?

Here are some links that could help you out with refining your current model.

First. Reference. Your life blood. https://www.fineart.sk/

And secondly. The best head modeling tutorial I've ever seen. https://secondreality.ch/

Now as far as how to finish the rest of the body. I dunno. Cuz that's where I am currently. LOL

Have fun.

the second one shows good improvement over the first but if you ask me, it looks like the faces (both) are too flat.. as if somebody hit it with a frying pan user added image

also, I would work on the eyes, ... last time I checked I dont have dimond shaped eyes user added image

maybe work on the mouth some more and you'll improve a lot!

P.S. Sorry if I was too harsh... I was trying to tell you what I see wrong with it and not one of those "IT LOOKS GREAT!!! " one line replies...

Hi there buddy..

Great improvement. Almost there.

You done a real great mouth. But you might want to curve the lower lip a bit - it looks a little too straight (i hope u understand what i mean). Like Emo - i think the face look too flat. It might be the nose that is VERY flat - or is it the angle ?

But hey! i think this is the best first head i have ever seen !!!

Keep it p dude.
