Jpg problem

hey guys (and that one girl, who may or may not actually be a girl... who knows? its the internet user added image)

ANYWAY, i have been having a problem lately involving jpgs out of Photoshop CS3. they WONT load into maya, and it tells me there was an error in reading them.

they work in every other program.

any ideas?

also, it tells me "// Error: Image conversion (to IFF) failed //"
