Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

And another render with a mia material x and background.

This winged thing looks a bit out of place i think. Ill make it smaller.
The windows are without lights, only incandescense and glow.there is not texture in the material, some colour and BRDF values of 0.9 and 0.9

Looking nice taquion,
I like the wing shapes you've used, very different from a lot of the other ships, good work.
What are those lumpy bits at the base of them?

It looks like an alien but it is the device to hold the black hole.

This thing supposedly generates a field of i dont know what that keeps the black hole in place even when the ship is moving, so that you only have to aim it to the planet you choose and hope they dont have a device to stop it or they cant do it in time.

the colours remind me of scorpinok from beast wars transformers user added image

what's to stop the blackhole from sucking up your ship? do youhave some kind of new tech that neutralizes the blackhole's gravity power whilst it's still in range of your ship? in which case all we'd have to do is get up close to your ship to put holes in it :p
i suggest maybe you want escorts or smaller weapons on the ship to deal with close range... just in case you get surrounded user added image

also did you layout your UVs so that they don't stretch the textures? the texture looks stretched on the front of the ship

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

I think my final imagen will be something like this, perhaps mixed whith an occlusion render to lighten the dark shadows.

Sorry chirone, we were writing at the same time.

I dont think ill have time to make a uv mapping and texture it propperly .Apart from that, i have never done it with a model so big. The biggest thing I have modelled till now was a couch. So probably i will aim to make it look better without uv mapping. But if i have time i may try.

about the question of why the BH dont suck the ship is explained a few a posts before, and in the first page (this tech is still unknown to as).

Scorts would help but the ship has fighters and some weapons described in the technical details ( page 3).
