This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Sporin : Character

Heylo. Well, it's time for me to try something in Maya for once.

I started the competition but I just don't like the idea of another inorganic model. Going to have my hand at organics now.

This is the sword for my character (yes, inorganic). The character shall come next.

This is the design of the sword so there's not much for me to change. Give ideas.

Thanks for the comment.

I'm looking forward to seeing how my head will turn out.

I'm doing Michael McKinley's head tutorial. So I guess this character will be dedicated to McKinley lol.

Thanks for the comment Matt. Yea I knew those edges were hard before I posted. I thought I can do something with the texture to make it look better.

Anyways, here's the start on the head. I must say, it's a great tutorial.

I know it's almost impossible to comment on right now, but just give me your thoughts on if it's looking right and if the edges look alright.
