TOP SHOTS

a) you have a floating lamp, unconnected to ceiling

b) the external door/window view is all wrong. You open up that door? and fall to your death? Put a balcony if you must have that sky

c) I would reduce the size of that oval table or move it away from the couch

d) lengthen/widen that room and to give it more space to look better.

e) wall on the right is too dark; the room is a) lit. the room is b) getting a lot of bounced light from the sky

BOTTOM SHOT

a) all that light and its still so dark?

b) sink is wacky chromey. too blue

c) bevel your edges, the sufaces are just cube now aren't they. bevel to add realism and make it look just that bit better.

d) handles on your drawer things

e) put some plugs in. where do you connect your microwave..etc.

TheGreenGiant, thanks for the input. The lighting was not a big concern yet. I just did some renders to see what the textures looked like. In regards to makeing the room bigger. The main reason I'm doing this project is to make things to scale as much as possible. The dimension I am using are to scale for the condo a friend of mine purchased recently.

another render added the porch floor light (not textured) and fixed the outside image.

Can you guys let me know if the image is to bright or to dark. I think something is up with my monitor.

i think that the floor is messed. For carpet.. the bump map is wacked out. Looks like sand. Also.. it seems so reflective.. i say go with a brand new texture for it. Other than that.. i can't really tell where the door to the balcony starts.. it looks like it is in the middle of the balcony. Mabye change the moldings around the floor to a different colour?

for the carpet I took the bump way down. I can see the problem with the door. The problem is I have the baseboards running under the door. Got to change that. I'm on a better monitor know, The room is just way to yellow
