Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

"See" texture keyframes in graph editor?

I have made keys on a textures "Repeat UV" coordinates, I would like to see these keyframes in the graph editor, but cannot figure out how to do this. I need to flatten tangents on the keys I have made...

Hi,

there's a couple of ways to do this. First, if you click on the outputs arrow next to where you've keyed the values (text in green on my image) in the file node, you'll get an extra node that give you control over the curve type, keyframe number and value etc.

Or, you can select the placement node by highlighting it's name, copying it (red in the image), and use the "select by name" function to select this node (by pasting it in as per the blue text), then open the graph editor. For last step, make sure that you select "Select by Name" in that box or it won't work.

cheers
