I was wondering about the logo image. It was mentioned earlier that the image could show a transition from wireframe to full render.
Is this what we had in mind?

a selection of images that link to other simply 3d web sites etc..
+ add a nice selection of wireframe for mshoward82
you could also have a gallery that is also devided into sections (cars/humans etc...) that the title images could link to.
one thing i like about cgtalk is that every time you enter it theres always new images at the top...this is kinda why i think its a cool idea

the main banner ones might be random but wont link as many people see as clicking the main banner as a way to get "home" and this would be a most annoying feature
you will see guys! it will rock! probably use a lot of the banners here

just make sure that this will be easy-updatable, so you could add more headders after each competition..
think it's a good idea?and the winner's model could be as a main picture... more than half transperrent maybe?..

The only thing I have an itsy bitsy problem with would be the medusa image, and any other image there. Kinda gives it an amateurish look|feel to it. I would work more on branding the site better. (As in creating a good logo, corporate identity and such)
