Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

UV problem

Hi all,

I stumbled on a little problem and I hope you can help me.
For some reason, when I applied checkers texture on my model, the numbers were inverted (like in a mirror).
I scaled the UVs by -1 so the numbers look fine, but now the UV Editor shows that the UVs are inverted.
Anyone Knows why it happens?
I checked for opposite polygons or normals but everything seems to be fine.

Thanks

My memory on this one is kind of fuzzy. I think I flipped the UVs and deleted history(or did I only delete history). Either way, try that.

If you can, upload the scene or email me a link to an upload.

Thank you for the trouble!
I uploaded the whole scene. The objects with the inverted UV are in a group.
Thanks again

Some of the parts are scaled negatively. Freeze transformations on the objects and problem solved.

I knew it was going to be something ridiculously obvious!

Thank you!
