Sorry guys, in my hurry I’ve pushed the new thread button instead of post reply.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
The reply was designated for October mini competition.
Any way I hope you will like my work.

few retouch

Hi again,
I’ve made some retouch to my work (changed the moon illumination, the texture for the house wall and a little bit at the light that came out from windows) and this is how it look like now.

re.2 mumbojumbo_13

As far I considered I think it’s allowed to use particles.
I don’t see what will be the problem if you use it.
You can do dust, smoke or fog in the scene with particles.
So if you want to use particles…, just use it!

Great work, one suggestion the pic is pretty dark for having a full moon, I know is night time and all but the moon does give off a lot of light. Try to ad a point light which is above eveything and have it intesity like .2 or .3 have it colored light blue. This should brighten it up just bit but still keeping the atmosphere of night.

little fog?

Ok, it’s cool looking house.
If you want an opinion, I think it will pretty cool if you put some fog to come out from the floor. You know like in vampires movies when first come the smoke than the vampire.
Any way I think it’s a great start.

oh, i have a tip regarding the crudly-pixelating rendering.

If you set anti-aliasing to, say production, then you would have a nicer rendering.

It is a little hard to see the stair there. Maybe one should see more of the scene to be able to "orient oneself" in the rendering you made.

Nah.. my laptop would die on me if I tried. user added image
But on the other hand I guess I could shave off a few megabytes of the projects and make a movie...
yes that wouldnt be bad. I'll try that.

I'd love to make some storyboards and come up with something.
