Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Hey, how about some more progress. I think your transformer is going to get serious cramps if it stays in that position too much longer. user added image

hey guys i have a small question.. im doing my animation with key frames, but for instance i need some new geometry on say like frame 25, but if i add it here, when i start the animation from 1 again the geometry is still in the postion from 25.
Is there a way just for it to pop into view or whatever. just from that frame onwards?

You can keyframe the visability of the new geometry, that should do it, or keyframe it out of shot on one frame then keyframe it in the shot for the next frame then it looks like its just appeared.

It might be easier to key frame the visibility in my opinion, but that is just a suggestion.

Cool Dyson model Magicsy! We got one a couple of months ago and I never thought I would be excited about a vacuum - but I have to say, it rocks!!

Glad to see you are still in the competition - I was beginning to think everyone had given up!
