Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

hey tweetytunes - hope you are doing alright mate.

Just looking back through your thread - your model was looking really cool. I know it might not be up to the standard that you had hoped for, but I would definitely still enter this as I think that this is still a top model.

there was no way I would have modeled, uv mapped, textured, light and rendered her in just a month - heck shes not finnished after 2.

glad I did not enter her there.

Just putting a turn table of her togeather for my site/showreel

Yeah!! very nice work mate.

A couple of things that stand out - I think that the top half of her body - the human part, should be a bit more upright. I just think that this will make her look more sturdy and grounded if you know what I mean. Also, I'm just not sure about the green. It would look great textured, but I am sure (like me) you are sick of looking at this. Still, I might pick a more neutral color for the time being. Last, I think that the turn around is just a touch slow. Good job, though - any links to your site yet?
