Shadow of transparent texture

Hello,
I am a newbie and have problems with transparent textures. Example: I want to create tree leaf, so will use picture of leaf and create Alpha channel in Photoshop and save it as tiff. When I connect texture to plane`s material (Lambert) as a Color and Transparency, render looks good until I use Depth Map Shadows or Raytraced. In both cases I see black box as a shadow at the ground, when Raytraced not so expressive, but still there. Guess that Depth Map can`t create proper shadow but I expected Raytraced can. What am I doing wrong ? Thank for answer.
