This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

I like the rims now, they look good. just keep adjusting and modeling. It's time consuming but when it's done you will feel great about it!

Help!

Here is a model but something wrong, I don't know why?

When I make a copied combine together then convert polygons to subdiv, some faces going out and if chlicking somewhere will be change right. I dont's know why? I do render the model use mentay ray, I can't see anything.

I don't know if you absolutely have to use sub-ds, but you'd be much better off smoothing the polygon instead. MR doesn't work well with sub-ds. Only Maya 8.5 has fixed the problem.

Btw, did you model the audi logo seperately, or from the car mesh?
I'm doing an Audi too, but don't know the best way to model the logo.

I've never messed with Maxwell before. I'm sure Google has tons of tutorials you can find though.
