played for a bit. trying to get the headlight to.. you know.. look like a headlight. Then ill take hwat i learned here and fix the taillight.

I also threw a simple texture on to see how it looked. i still need to tweak some on the front end.

Anyone have a good tutorial for rims?

i have been busy but i managed to get some inspiration and make a rim that loks inifnitly better than my last try using a completely different style of modeling that worked out very well.

Heres the next shot... and on to the taillights(the rims were bothering me. i knew i could do better)

Havent made the tire... not sure if i want to make something simple(nurbs+ revolve) or actually make tread.

Stage 1 complete.

The car is modeled to a level i like. And i have the mesh fairly clean for what i intend.

So this is the "Stock" 1995 Dodge Stratus i own.

I plan on tweaking it and making some aftermarket parts for it. To start

-Front bumper, Rear Bumper, Side Skirt
-Hood
-Redo "Custom" Headlights/Taillights.
-Wing
-Redo the tires(Keep the rims.. i like them)
-Chop the backend and modify the trunk/rear window into a Del-Sol style Rear.

So here is the Stage 1 Version.

Sh!t, I wanna see how your gonna "chop" the back end off, to make it like a Del Sol. The car looks alittle high off the wheels...I know stock cars are kinda high, but that is really high. Looks good so far tho!

The reason it looks a little high is because im missing one section of the wheel well.. Its a somewhat hard edge around the wheel wells accenting the wheels.. i didnt put it in because when i change out to the next bumper they wouldnt line up at all.. so with that it would add about another 2 inches to the inside of the wheel wells...

And i would chop the back window so its near flat and verticle and extend the trunk to meet the new window. I saw someone do it to an eclipse once at a car show and it looked pretty cool. He also did it to his VW Bug... and it didnt look bad. so im hoping it wont look bad on mine. (plus i love the del sol style rear windows).
