Translucent material

user added image

Hi I've been trying to reproduce this phone and am having difficulty with the plastic/clear piece of the dial.

Could someone recommend a material/shader for this?

Thanks
Graham

try a blinn shader. I find them just easier than phong.

With shading and lighting you have to strike a balance, try spreading the hilight more and lessen the transparency and reflection.

cheers

I actually tried an mia shader and you can blur the refractions.
Still its not as good as the actual plastic when looking at it.
The real one has scrathes on the surface and blurryness id like to reproduce.

any ideas?
