Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

hey Steve

No probs man, I dont think its you, myself and GioChrono (SM dude, friend and work colleague) were also trying to solve the mystery of the Maya to Zbrush thing for a while too. You read and hear so much crud, you want the easiest and most simple way and effective way to do stuff. Its always the first steps on the ladder that matter most, once you do that the only way is up. Enjoy the video

well said, its a minefield trying to get through the z-brush tuts.

I guess i gotta ask, the main piont of using a differant app is for practicle use not to say 'I can do' that would be crazy.

you seem to be reaching a level of 'hyper-real' here in a fairly quick and artistic way, the skin texture and stuff.

is it possible to do the same in maya, or has z-brush opened new doors by for you? Or is it just quicker?

eerr?? user added image yes, i have the full version, version 2 actually, am i missing something? i still dont know how to import, i know what to import now, via some help here, but not how, the dam menu bar is backward, looks like it was designed in Japan where they read fom the wrong end user added image I dont think my wife reads this so i can say that safely.user added image

I'm starting to think Z-Brush is well worth learning after watching the Alias hyper-real tut last night (after watching a tut on Pro-Tools which at least i understood). The Alias tut started in english and eventually ended in latin. I was hoping to get around having to learn latin via Z-brush. user added image

maybe i dont understand you and i am again caught up in my favourite topic.., ME?! If so its back to the counsellor user added image thought i'd gotten over that, oh well, we get by with a little help from our friends. (i think) user added imageuser added image

Jay what could the codec be for the Maya -> Zbrush video above be? I am stuck in codec hell sniffles.

Quicktime says it's a H.264 but tried a trial of Vanguards codec and still no go. What am I doing wrong? Any input
on the codec would be of use.

Nice looking villain too =)
