This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

llokin good for a first car

is it polys an sub d's

there is a patch just before the door starts where it goes inwards an doesnt flow with the rest of the body - i think that ut should be adjusted to get a better flowing surface (or is the car like that cos i cant renmember what it looks like)

good luck

Try assigning a phong with a nice bright colour (sush as red) and then applying this to the object, along with a simple 3 point light set up, hit 7 to enable lighting and use this to evaluate the surface for lumps, bumps etc as the lighting interaction lets you see wheres there's problems and helps to iron them out.#

Hope it helps

Oh forgot to add, adjust the cosine power to suit.

Have you got a low poly version of the wireframe?

yeah... we would need the low poly one, but just looking at the high poly one and its tesselation I would guess that you have a ton of 3 or n sided polys. my $0.02
