Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

How to make letters in NURBS form for Second Life

Very new to this, so if I get my terms wrong please forgive me.

I am trying to make 3D letters to convert and upload to Second Life.

I can make a Letter out of a curve and extrude that .5 but then it is hollow. How can I fill it in so it is not hollow then link them so they are one object?

The object has to be in NURBS form as that is the only form my output script accepts.

Thanks
Little Jim

I don't know about creating 3d texts using nurb but I guess you could try extruding polygons to create the letters first then just convert them to nurbs. That seems to be easier, I think.
