Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Baking problem, all uv sets bake merged

Hello!

I have a problem, I have an object/avatar that is one peice. It uses three maps. Head, Upper Body, and Lower Body. What I am trying to do is project a texture onto it, it looks great in render. But when I try to bake it, it bakes all 3 maps on top of eachother. When I go into UV Edit, all three UVs are stacked onto eachother. I am not very familiar with UV editing. I have the file if you would like to look at it, it is too big to attach here so I can e-mail in .obj or .mb

I want to be able to bake out the individual parts, head, upper, and lower.

Thanks!!
