Crank shaft

Hi all

I have model an engine with a crank shaft and a con rod connected to it, I want to turn the crank shaft and have the con rod follow the ofset bit of the crank around and good up and down, I have tried to parrent them but then the whole con rod turns like a clock hand rather then just the bit which is connected to the crank, any ideas please,

With thanks
Trikeman

Try setting a driven key. Open the set driven key window, load the crank shaft's rotation as the driver, then load the con rod's offset (?) as the driven object. Might have problems with it going up as well as down, so it would actually probably be better to use an expression. Two options for you.
