Final Gather + File Texture

IMG 0.0 error 101003: ...er/Eigene Dateien/maya/projects/default/textures/Red Sun.gif: unrecognized file format, not an image file
API 0.0 error 301090: undefined ctexture symbol "file3:tex"
API 0.0 error 301105: undefined color texture "file3:tex"
API 0.0 error 301099: failed to open texture file C:/Dokumente und Einstellungen/Kai Rohweder/Eigene Dateien/maya/projects/default/textures/Red Sun.gif

That´s the massage that apperas if I try to render my scene
with Final Gather. user added image
Any idea how to fix that?

Im not sure... but it sounds like it is the gif file you use as texture.. try to convert to a diffrent format..

Tried to so it with jpeg, jpg, gif and bmp now.
Seems like that´s not the problem... Still the same massage.

I just use .tga. Never had a problem with them.

Are you just re-naming your extension?

..or are you actually CONVERTING it in Photoshop, and saving it out as a different file type?
