This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Subsurface scattering Maxwell

I did a little test in Maxwell with SSS.

It's a light inside a plastic hollow box with SSS. During the light gets intensified one could see the scattering in the plastic.

15 hours, I let it run overnight. It's just one image though and then using the Multilight feature, I changed the lighting afterwards.
