May/June - Noob - BMS

I'm guessing worse case scenario, I may learn something from this user added image

I'm going to have a go at making a Brown Trout . . I'm a fly fisher so when it comes to underwater creatures, my interest is limited to trout.

This will be my reference Pic

have you found out about the gills yet? besides those the trout looks very nice! I have not really come to the gills myself, but if I find a handy way I let you know. when the fish is textured it sure looks awsome man!

I might just cut away the smaller faces and then extrude them so they overlap. I think it will work out . . . . well I hope so user added image

BTW: Love the way your model is coming along, should look awesome when complete.

Cheers

Man Time seems to be really against me at the moment. I'm having problems finding the time user added image

Did a little more today, but this will have to do until the weekend.

I did a little more on the Brown Trout today, but time and skills seem to be working against me :headbang: Making the Texture is a lot harder than anticipated user added image

Wow, I like that. Can you post a close up? I'd like to check out the skin texture. I can see a hint of scale, wondering how detailed it is up close. You still have a few weeks... plenty of time. Keep going...

Thanks Michael,

Below is the close up. I started using Photoshop a couple of months ago so I'm not very good at it. I've scrapped 3 textures so far. If you had seen the first one I think I would have had you on the floor in laughter . . . seriously :headbang:

Cheers
