Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Well, I started out modeling a (semi) human head, by human head refs.

Now, its on to detailing- and that large mouth cavity, you will see the jaw gum/bone and teeth, rotten and all

C+C plz

yeah, I'm not satisfied at all, first, because it doesnt fit my design, and second that my mesh is becoming unmanageable. Im away from Maya now, so I'll probably use Silo to work on this for now.

im sure you know what is a good mesh so you should try to take a front and side view of your model and draw the right line so it could help you figure out how your mesh is suppose to look like.

like this, just a little trick.user added image

Started new in Silo- I'm really happy the way this one started.

And no I can't do my edge loops the same way as I would a human, because that would not offer suppport for all of the wrinkles and stuff
