Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

sorry if this thread has been made before but its driving me mad , my little tool that allows you to move things along the x , y,z axis had turned in to u,v,n does any one know how to fix this or set maya back to default settings

while in the move tool,
go to: windows>settings/prefs>tool settings

change it to local or world. or just click reset tool

or hold down "w" when you use the move tool and a context menu will come up that allows you to change between the modes easily (works with "e" for rotate and "r" for scale too")
