Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

user added image

look at these images...i already set the tesselation to 'highest' but i still get those bad curves/edges things or ugly gaps as one would say...any suggestions on how to remedy this?

When you changed the tesselation values to "highest," did you also try to increase the U and V Divisions Factors? Try cranking them up a bit and see if that helps.

Are those surfaces stitched?
Or is it a planar surface?

Read up on stitching in Maya's help docs. If you're having too many problems, you could convert nurbs to poly and start attaching edges and/or vertices. From looking at your photos, though there would be other ways to doing up the window shape such as scaling the window shape up into the body so that the edges are hidden, then trimming away the outer edges of the window..
