Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

How can I do this with Maya 8

Hello,

I have Maya 8 unlimited and would like to know if it can be used to create a spinning animated logo with text like to one that says "Dunk of the Night" in this video link: https://sports.yahoo.com/video/player...5#nba/17556085

It's the logo that appears after the NBA logo.

I would like to use Maya to do this if possible.

Thanks,
Troy

You could do that with a polygonal object, with a neon, or ramp shader, and a lot of comp work.

Imagination is more important than knowledge.
