This is a good place to start. It really depends on what compositing software you are using. I will look around at some other places that have helped me out.

Thanks for your comments.

Yeah they sure are! I didn't even use them so it was a waste to put them out there, oh well.

I need to clean it up a bit, remove the trackers, but I was doing this more as a test composite.

Looking really good man! I need to get from doing simple stuff to doing more stuff like that.

The only crit I can say is that the planes look like they might need a bit more "noise" on them to match the DV footage, it might be just the stills and not noticable on the video

Good work tho

Crits welcome, thanks for the tip. I think you are right.

When you watch the video it goes so fast that you can't even tell, but even so, it should be detailed. I think the eye can tell flaws even if it is fast. So thanks for the crit!

Cheers man, it is the little things that the eye picks up on, I have a prob wit the noise too, as I think "the CG looks great why destroy it with noise/blurrs" but thats what you've got to do to match the footage!

The only other thing I can see is the black on the jets are a bit too black, if you know what I mean, the main shadows on the footage isn't perfectly/totaly black so maybe adjusting the input black might intergrate it a bit more?? Just a suggestion

As you said its a bit of a WIP

Cheers

Ok, I will post the animation. I am going to delete this thread and start a new one in the WIP section since this seems to be more of a WIP as I will be fixing it.

Come by there and give your imput as I start to modify it some more.

I will keep this thread up for 2 more days so people know where to find it. Thanks for the input guys!

Thanks!
