Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Not bad for a first idea. I like it too.

I like it too but I still can't help thinking it looks a little generic.

I suppose its more like a badge than a trophy. Feel free to make suggestions if you have any cool ideas!

looks nice to me, reminds me of a formula 1 style trophy/placard user added image

Il like it, but it seems to have a little "Federation of Planets" feel about it.

JS's idea of making it a 3D cup (as a 2D render) is good. use PS to emboss the winners name and the month of the challenge on it.

I do like the one you have shown tho. Would be nie to place as an Avatar if you are a winner.

Hmmm, in my honest opinion, it doesn't really look like a trophy. When I think of a trophy, I think of the tall skinny ones. the think the design showed needs something like a ribbon hanging down or something similar. This is just my take on it.
