Default Alias and House of Moves Form Strategic Alliance

Toronto, Canada – January 26, 2004 –Alias, a Silicon Graphics Inc. (NYSE: SGI) company, announced today it has licensed advanced animation technologies from the California-based production company, House of Moves™. The technologies, derived from House of Moves’ Diva™ software, are intended for development and integration as a standard feature in future versions of the company’s Maya® software.
