Default Transparency Using Depth Maps

Can u cast Depth map shadows using transparency maps for eye lashes? As I dont want to use raytracing

a shader castign shadow... i don't understand?
can a shader cast a shadow on it's own without being on a geometry... or u mean reflection?
im lost here...

edit: ah now i c what u mean. there is a tut for this on gnomon website.
