Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Help me to make a mirror.

How can I make a flat mirror that reflect whats in front of it?
Is there a tutorial out there with this?
Or maybe a shader or somthing?

you can turn on raytracing and make the shader assigned to the mirror reflective, or you can use reflection maps to do it. Raytracing is easier just go to the render globals and check the raytracing box.

well light it properly then user added image

you wont get nice reflections unless you have a nice lighting setup to begihn with.

If you want a really real look for your mirror then you need to think about how one is constructed in real life. It's one sheet of highly polished metal, behind a sheet of glass. You could get some nice effects by re-creating that.
