This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Sheriff Character

Hi Guys
I've had this posted in WiP for a couple of weeks and this is the final job before I move on to my next character. For those of you who have not seen it before its a character for a graphic novel I'm hoping to 'get out there' asap, its basically a sci-fi spaghetti western, enjoy the image

Looks awsome. I think a small adjustment like Mike said is not a bad Idea. To me it looks like his legs are a bit sort and his torso is fine.

I really love the txtures. You also have great modeling skills.

Hi Guys
Heres a front ortho, legs are okay, maybe just the camera angle plus the back of the jacket is showing between his legs as well. I use reference from a pic I have of Reid Richards from Fantastic 4 for the hero proportions.

Thanx

i like the facial expression very much. gimme me another year or 2 (i am serious here) user added image

skol,

luke

ps i: i fully understand how you feel ransick

ps ii: proportions are pretty good i think mike. head fits approximatly 7.5 times in body. making it fit 8 times would make the character somewhat more "monumental" though ...
