Rigging problem..

Hi!.. I'm trying to rig my character I made from the dvd.. so i downloaded the rigging tutorial.. but now i'm stuck=(
I'm trying to rig the feet.. and the left foot worked fine.. but i can't get the right foot to work...
On the first picture i've selected both LHeelPivot & RHeelPivot..
as you can see the right foot turns white.. on the second picture i've moved the RHeelPivot.. and you can see that there's 2 selectionhandles?! i've tried deleting one of them.. but that just messes up the skeleton.. tried leaving one of them but the the foot wont move properly.. what have i done wrong?

Everything has a selection handle, but unless you tell Maya to display it, it will be invisible.

I've never rigged a SubD model, so to be honest, I really don't know how different it is. You will not want to convert your model after binding, though, as the binding will no longer take effect (unless that's been changed in recent versions).
