Default Look through light

Can anyone tell me why when I look through any of my lights to focus them on objects, it seems to go miles out of whack when I move them, just the slightest of movement causes the lights camera to look out into infinity somewhere.!!!

select your ligth then hit 't' then place the target thingy majigy thing (what ever its called ) near the the objec tu want the light to hit. this should then make the light look at that object where ever you move it.

i dont know the answer to your question but that migh thelp you get around it
