well, mine looks almost exactly like my real one(without that crappy picture i took) but there is still alot to add to it, and i will post a base mesh soon

well if you are happy with it then there is no problem. But back to your monitor, like I said, edges and stuff, if you are aiming for realism, some of the edges need to be softer and you need to look more into hard surface modeling.

actually a sqaure doesn't become a perfect circle when smoothed.
