May/June Noobie - Submitting: Protoss Dragoon

Hello Everyone, I know im new to the forum and this is my first post, but if its ok with you guys, I wanted to join the Competition, I totally understand if im not permitted to compete but ill just submit anyway. This is my first piece of animation in my life, First time I rigged something and Animated it, it was all done for a game called Civilization 4, its for my starcraft Mod and it will be the Protoss Dragoon for you familiar with starcraft. Anyway, please judge with kindness since this is my first attemp at anything like this. Personally it might look like crap to you, but to me its such an unimaginable achievement. Thanks to The free Render globals tutorial, I got it to Batch render and set it as an AVI Video file which I attached, its 98 k. Thank you all for your time. Seeing all you pro maya users encourages me to go on, soo keep up the good work.

welcome to the boards killamike user added image

I remember the dragoons, cool voices (played starcraft to death many years ago). It definately reminds me of their movement in the game so you must be on the right track - are you going to use a more detailed model as your final piece or are you just concentrating on the animation side?

We are happy to see more new guys coming in. But you only have a month to go.
Your character, spider-like, has a nice motion for the moment.
But I never played this game sorry I can't compare.user added image
