Default PCTV

Well i was to enter on the wonderfull world of PCTV...

The Pinnacle PCTV Hybrid Pro USB Stick looked just right: under a 100€, crystal clear analog+TDT TV and direct-to-Divx capture... the guy on the shop also promised it could catch my cable channels...

But the pinnacle drivers and software managed to make me want to return it to the shop... something about they wanting to screw with the microsoft SQL software (to make a database of my channels and what i recorded?) never quite managed to configure itself... ive lost like all the time id dedicate to watching tv in a week in trying to make it work... so it goes to the shop on monday...

Anyways... id like to hear your personal experiences wuth the PCTV hardware and software, in order to, maybe, get another one...
