Help with hands sticking in place.....

Hi

just working on my first animation and there are (as always) a few gliches.

Main one i wish to solve is my hands.

Basically if you look at the clip when he is sleeping i want to animate his body moving up and down, (which it does). However it doesnt look realistic as the hands and arms move up and down too, whereas i want the to stay on the table.

Also when he stands up, again, if you look closely at this hand on the table, it moves (poor animation).

Is there any way or scripts i can fix this

You could use a sphere to influcece the skin to simulate breathing of the character.

yeah thats an idea. Dont know to much about influence at the mo. Touched over it briefly, but not too sure on how i'd do it.

Also how would i keep his hands in place when he stands up.

My friend uses max and told me there is a 'fix' option that automatically does this, keeps it in place.

How would i do this?

Thanx gster123
