Heh, if I had my way, I'd have a workstation like chrisdude's. However, since I'm using the school's computers and they're all donated, I've got some kind of Dell sitting on my desk. It's all right, probably about ready for an upgrade.

I do, however, get to use the 128-processor render farm here. So it's worth this Windows nightmare, I guess.

I just finished building my new PC! Now it's time to get some modeling going again!

Logitech cordless MXduo (nice)

I'm in the market for a new video card, looking to upgrade to a GeForce FX 52xx - 56xx w/ 128DDR somthing like that! also get another 512DDR in there to bring me up to a gig! Anyways, that's my new toy! now to see how Maya likes it!

Im also building a new machine. Selling my laptop for a desktop. The parts are in the mail but here are the specs. We'll see how My computer handles me handleing Maya.

Should be done by the end of the week. I gotta go out and get a new monitor though.

It is a Gateway 500 X PC:
-512 MB of RAM
-a Maxtor 160 GB hard drive
-Pentium 4 2.6 GHz processor with hyperthreading technology and an 800 MHz bus speed
-128 MB NVidia GEForce4 MX 440 graphics card
-a 17" Analog Flat panel LCD display monitor on 1280x1024 resolution
-Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP1 operating system
-a CD-RW/DVD ROM combo drive and a floppy disk drive, but I want to one day get a DVD-RAM drive!
-PS/2 Multifunction keyboard R1
-Intel Midway motherboard
-Logitech USB Wheelmouse

Well my big brother shares his setup with me and here it goes

NVIDIA Quadro FX 3000 256 DDR

900G SCSCI Storage
DVD/CD/CDR-RW combo
SB Audigy
10/100/1000 Line
Along with Maya 5.0


And to top that all off full access to something like 30 render nodes at his office

Maya runs like a sweet dream and render speeds to commit triple homocide for ....
