many thanks guys and gals.., nice have people watching over one 9people you can trust that is).

LOL.., i thought you did the tut John.., many thanks.., very well done and such a challenge and such a subject.

well while i was away i had a lot of restarts as usual., i was going to bevel the inside of the big door, i did actual (and started again).., and realised what a nightmare of vert merging and such that was.., so i have left the beveling inside the big door alone. i found somehow the back of the big door was being skewed (wrong word.., sort of rounded??) so i went in and trued straightening verts out via the old and trusted scale the verts in 'n' direction.

anyway.., heres what i came home with and im all eyes and ears as to what i have or have not done.

From what I can tell the main door looks fine and I see you have made the diagonal arches better.
A very nice job so far mirek, keep it going it can only get easier

Looks good, whats weird is that I never actually looked closely at the Taj Mahal before so it seems kinda alien to me without the distinctive roofing added.

GecT.., i think you are just a little bit alien .., period!! LOL

but yea, actually its a building that has always, since a kid.., left me in awe.., ive always wanted to model it.., it was a big desision to buy it. looks like John knows the building inside and out.., actually a fly through would be nice.., if one had a year or so to do it.

yea, so a lot of time is spent trying to fix them.., only to go back later and live with the mistakes due to a sort of .., domino effect.., and i dont want to start again from wayyy back

John.., yea, i am learning a lot that i didnt know existed.., subtle stuff but totally important.., and a great example you have done of speed and efficiency.
