Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Stone Texture

Good Afternoon Everyone

I wonder if someone can talk (type) me through the steps to create a stone texture using the maya-based materials and bump mapping hardware.

I'd like to avoid using photoshop texturing and bump mapping if possible.

Basically I'm working on my first real project in my spare time and trying to familiarise myself with all the functions within maya. I've attached (I think) an image of my little Gargoyle project. Pretty amateur I know, but hey, you got to start somewhere right! :O)

Any help would be great.
Thanking you all in advance
