Heres the finished model, It was only meant as a modelling attempt i want to get used to modelling before i get into texturing, Crits and Comments welcome
it would do you good if you will try and texture this, because then you will come to realise that you have to approach some modeling stuff a bit different in order to make Uv-ing and texturing a bit easier.
And it's just plain old good practice
I am talking about modeling in general;
Hard surface modeling requires a different approach when it comes to how it ( and thus the texture) deforms then with organic modeling.
It would be prudent however to make yourself familiar with the workflow ( so that you know what the other guy has to do when you are done modeling, and maybe give instructions to the guy that hands over the concept art to you)
Lol I see where you guys are coming from ill give it ago but ill just start on somthing simple like ps3 or chair haha, would i need to UV my base poly mesh or my Subd? im not sure where to begin. cheers
