Default Nodes

Hi, i am following a tutorial on facial rigging and to make curves to act as one single control but i dont understand some parts of it.

It said that i need to select the shape node of the secondary curve and the transform node of the first curve. How exactly do i select the shape node and the transform node???

use the outliner. Display shapes in there, and do your selecting.
