Great sketch! Can't wait to see this in 3d!

Is that Photoshop or by hand?

My monitor has seen better days...

It's a good start but if I were u I would use something like fur or paint effects to do the beard rather than doing it with geometry. In the long run i think that that would be easier and give you better results.

Looking forwards to seeing more updates soon.

Hey guys, I chose to remodel the whole thing over... I wasn't really happy with the way the head looked nehow. I do have a bit of a problem though, because I really have no clue how to attach fur or hair to any surfaces i modelled. Whenever i select the object and choose to create fur, the whole front side of the face gets it. I need to know how to select certain areas of the face, such as the chin or sides only. So if anyone has ne suggestions or can point me in the right directions with some quick tuts or samples, I'd really appreciate it.

Could you just select the faces around the front of the face to make paintable?

Or create a plane shaped around the face that you want the beard and make that paintable?
